_________you broke a promise_______

but i am le tired... well take a nap. ZEN FIRE ZE MISSILES!

anyway 'ze end of ze world' isn't what i'm here to talk about. i've actually more important and crap stuff on my mind. so apparently my boyfriend's grandfather doesn't have sprint-to-sprint added on his cell phone plan. basically everytime i've talked to my boyfriend using my sprint to call his sprint phone, it's been considered anytime minutes. i managed to rack up over 1,000 minutes on my phone, leaving the bill to be $200 extra. (our usual bill is like $120 or some such thing). now, i don't pay the bill, so you can imagine how upset the person that DOES pay the bill got. i'm up shit creek with my grandparents (it should just be my grandma seeing as how she's the billpayer, but NO Grappa had to get in on the anger party, too). to make it even worse, my mom is in town helping out my grandmother since she recently had surgery. my MOM's jumped on the bandwagon, as well. !!! since i can't make outgoing calls or accept incoming calls on my cell phone, nor send text messages, my mom has called my dorm phone from her cell phone to bitch me out. she tries to EXPLAIN shit to me like i'm a 5 year old. after "getting pissed off" at me earlier, she handed the phone to my grandmother. by this time i was shaking with anger so i hung up. before this, though, whilst my mom and i were actually getting along, she asked me for Jeff's (my boyfriend) phone numbers. i gave her the house number to start, and she was like, 'why can't you give me his cell phone number?' and i said, 'what do you need his cell phone number for?' and she tried to do the mom thing and dissuade me from that topic (by saying, 'just give me the number') but i stayed put and asked her to tell me why she needed it, and then i would give it to her. (for the record: i felt extremely ghastly for even thinking of giving her his numbers) she told me she was going to call sprint and see if Jeff was a customer (here i am thinking - doesn't that violate customer rights or something? they're not supposed to give out information about their customers, right?) and asked me if i was going to be around to answer her call back. i told her i was just going to go eat. she huffed and puffed and i was like, 'fine! i'll wait [for you to call back].' she called back a couple minutes later. the explanation she gave me was... i don't even know how to explain it, it was so wacked out: 'apparently everytime you made a call to Jeff, your call was bounced around to different cell phone towers up there [where i'm attending school], and it took sprint around 3 to four days for them to realize what was happening. it used up daytime minutes, and that's how you managed to rack up all those minutes you did. plus, since you're on roaming, that added on to the cost of your calls getting bounced around.' me: 'but mom - i didn't do anything! i didn't know how all those minutes were adding up like that! it's sprint's fault.' her: 'that's what they'll do to you; they want more money out of you.' & so it goes. my grandfather was absolutely tyrannical while on the phone a few hours earlier; he made note of how much money i was adding on to their bill due to racking up all the minutes, and that they were thinking of shutting my phone off. i told him to just go ahead; better safe than sorry, y'know? i also wanted them to go ahead and take the $200 out of my bank account to pay for my accrued charges. i don't know what they're going to do, but i powered down my phone because i don't want anything else stupid to happen. jesus christ.

so i'm fucking FRIGHTENED to talk to Jeff at all because i feel like sprint's going to have called him about my mom checking up on his account or whatever, and he's going to wheel around and be pissed at ME for having given out his number/s in the first place! i'm scared and pissed off and just sick to my stomach about all of this. sigh. g'day, mates.
